Haute Vallee hosted the first ever “Digital Learning Day” on 22nd May for its Year nine pupils.
The event, sponsored by Sure, featured a wide variety of tech-based businesses demonstrating how they use technology on a daily basis, and was a first not only for Jersey, but for the UK.
Various different local companies - from media and film production to virtual reality - came together to run workshops.
The event was entirely organised and run by the students, who worked to make sure that every student found something that appealed to them.
The pupils - called ‘Digital Leaders’ - have been working non-stop in order to put the event, and the day has been hailed as a massive success.
