The CEO of revolutionary tech-focused investment businesses with headquarters in Jersey and offices in London has been named a winner in the The M&A Advisor Emerging Leaders Awards.

Symon Stickney, founder and CEO of Independent Strategic Group (ISG) was chosen from a pool of nominees by an independent judging panel of distinguished business leaders, for his accomplishments and expertise in the field of insourcing investment solutions.

“In 2010, we initiated the Emerging Leaders Awards in the United States to recognize high achieving young women and men in the financial services industries of M&A, financing and restructuring," said David Fergusson, President and Co-CEO of The M&A Advisor.

"The 2015 European Emerging Leaders Awards winners were chosen from amongst their peers to join an influential global community of young leaders. Over the next two years, the leadership group will grow to include finance, corporate, government, media and academic leaders from Asia, Latin America, The Middle East, India and Africa."

Commenting on receiving the Award, Symon Stickney, said: “This award is welcome recognition of how far we have come and receiving it marks a milestone in the evolution of the Independent Strategic Group as a whole. I am very pleased to have been chosen to represent Europe in the global expansion of the M&A Advisor Emerging Leaders program, and to now join this influential global community of young leaders.”

Independent Strategic Group oversees circa £3billion of client assets. Independent Strategic Group, and is a group of six businesses based in Jersey and UK and includes Independent Strategic Research, Purple Strategic Capital and the FinTech start-up Independent Strategic Technology which started in January 2015.
