The Connétable is pleased to announce that as from Monday 15th June, 2020, following consultation with the Parish of St Helier, that fortnightly recycling collections will resume. Parishioners are asked to leave their recycling for collection on the normal date.

Parishioners are asked not to place the following contaminants such as: -

-      Cleaning wipes

-      Tissues

-       Nappies

Other items that cannot be recycled include black plastics, yoghurt pots, cling film, food trays, carrier bags and any items containing food remnants.  Bags contaminated with tissues put the workforce at greater risk of infection and will result in the non-collection of your rubbish.

If you would like to find out more on the service and what is generally accepted for recycling, you can visit our website and Facebook page on
