One of the directors of the Alex Picot Trust has been named on the Citywealth '40 Under 40' list which highlights the wealth management industry's "rising stars".

Chris Cotillard is an experienced private client director with responsibility for a number of multi-generational family office clients. He is an accountant, tax adviser, and trust and estate practitioner.

Mr Cotillard began working for Alex Picot 17 years ago and was promoted to Director in 2014.

Citywealth's '40 Under 40' list honours rising stars under the age of 40 in the wealth management and private client industries.

It was created to recognise young professionals in senior positions who exhibit leadership and specialisation in the field of private client practice.

Steve Gully, another Director of the Alex Picot Trust, said: “Chris’ inclusion in the list, alongside fellow leading wealth management and private client professionals from across the UK, is very well deserved and is a true reflection of his commitment to his role as Trustee.

“Over the past two years, Chris has been instrumental in implementing a significant future-proofing programme for Alex Picot Trust which continues throughout 2023 and beyond.

"In parallel, he leads our team and upholds the company’s traditional approach to personal client service.

"We are thrilled to see Chris’ reputation as a leading private client professional gain recognition by Citywealth in this listing.”
