Islanders can now gain greater confidence in their use of English or challenge themselves to learn a new language by signing up for one of ALX Training’s new language courses.

ALX Training is the Channel Islands’ leading provider of workplace skills training and is renowned for its learner-focused approach to teaching. This new range of language courses is designed to help people improve their English language skills to help them in the workplace or to try their hand at learning the basics of a foreign language.

Currently, ALX is offering conversation classes in Portuguese, Spanish and French or, for the more adventurous, there is a course in beginnersJapanese.

Learning languages is not only great fun but it also has enormous benefits. Numerous studies have shown that learning languages improves your memory, makes you more perceptive, enhances your decision-making skills and helps stave off Alzheimer’s and dementia, said Alex Morel, Managing Director of ALX Training.

“Our courses in professional writing, advanced English Grammar and English Pronunciation will be of huge interest to non-native English speakers who want to perfect their language skills for work, enabling them to move up the career ladder.

“The sessions in Portuguese, French, Spanish and Japanese are ideal for anyone who wants to practise and develop their speaking skills so that they can more easily communicate with friends or clients, as well as experience the joy of chatting to locals while on holiday.

Our language classes are led by a team of fantastic bilingual teachers who are not only highly experienced and knowledgeable but also have a passion for sharing their language and culture in a fun and engaging manner.

Anyone interested in these new language courses should contact Alex Morel on 01534 873785 or via email: alex@alxtraining.com
