ALX Training, a leading provider of essential workplace skills training, has opened a new training centre in St Helier.
The opening of the training centre at Hilary House in Hilary Street, marks the next step in the development of ALX Training, a company which has grown enormously since Alex Morel first started offering workplace skills training as a sole trader in 2005.
ALX itself, was established in 2009 and in that time it has taught over 15,000 students across ten jurisdictions and helped more than 3,500 people get back to work.
The centre features three well-equipped training rooms and a lounge area for students and trainers to use for relaxation between classes. Whilst the centre will primarily be used by ALX for the provision of its own workplace skills courses, the rooms are already proving popular with other businesses, trainers and consultants who need cost- effective training rooms in St Helier.
“The opening of our training centre is an important step in the development of ALX,” said Alex Morel, Managing Director of ALX Training. “Not only will it help us train more people but the centre provides rooms for the wider training and consulting community in Jersey who need modern, purpose-built and cost-effective accommodation in St Helier but find that many spaces are too expensive or restrictive.
“The feedback that we have already had from our clients has been extremely positive. Everyone at ALX is looking forward to welcoming many more people through the door to improve their workplace skills, something which not only helps them in their own work but also helps Jersey’s develop a more productive economy.”
