Ambition Accountancy has announced the appointment of Mark Le Cornu to a newly created director role.
A Chartered Certified Accountant since 2005, Mr Le Cornu will support the company with client-facing financial advisory as it enters its sixth year in business.
He brings over 23 years of experience across the full spectrum of local accountancy and bookkeeping services, including financial accounting, tax planning and payroll for startups through to major corporate groups.
Mr Le Cornu will be “central to managing Ambition Accountancy’s growing client base day-to-day", supporting the delivery of high-level financial guidance and services while “honouring the company’s commitment to provide adaptable and responsive services”.
Born and raised in the island, the firm said French-speaker Mr Le Cornu understands the financial expectations and ambitions commonly held by those living and running businesses across Jersey.
“I’ve watched Ambition grow since its founding in 2019 to quickly become an expert and experienced name across Jersey,” said Mr Le Cornu.
“I’m thrilled to now play a part in the company’s next chapter, contributing my own years of knowledge partnering with businesses and individuals in Jersey to meet their financial goals.”
Jim McCartan, founder and director of Ambition Accountancy, added: “Mark’s appointment is crucial to Ambition’s goal of reaching new clients and deepening the trusting partnerships we already hold through 2025 and beyond.
“That requires a human touch, but also the specialist knowledge and problem-solving abilities that only experience can bring. Mark provides that and so much more, having held trusting professional partnerships for more than a decade.”
