Senior appointment at Apex Group

Apex Group has promoted Gary Ayres to Global Head of Client Relationship Management.

Mr Ayres joined the global fund administration business in 2019 as Operations Director in Jersey and has since held senior posts in Jersey, Luxembourg, and Dublin.

With this promotion, he is moving from Dublin back to Jersey. The group employs 550 people in the Channel Islands.

In his new role, Mr Ayres will lead the CRM team of more than 75 professionals globally.

Working closely with Operations, the team focuses on client experience, client engagement and the profitable development of clients.

Mr Ayres said: “I am delighted to be returning to Jersey and look forward to partnering with our clients to better understand their needs, and to working collaboratively with colleagues in Jersey, and across the global business, to deliver exceptional levels of client service.”
