Appointment at Moore Stephens Jersey

Leanne Tunney has joined Moore Stephens Jersey as an In-House Legal Advisor.

Leanne’s role at Moore Stephens is to provide practical internal legal advice to administrators, accountants and directors on all aspects of the firm’s work, including advising on the establishment and maintenance of listed and private fund structures, assisting with internal ad hoc legal queries and ensuring transactions run smoothly.

Leanne is also involved in marketing and business development, helping Moore Stephens Fund Administration Limited make connections with law firms and intermediaries in Jersey, London and Europe.

Clive Barton MBE, Moore Stephens’ managing partner said: “Adding Leanne to the team has given us a real boost. Not every fund services business has their own in-house legal advisor but we believe it is critical to the service we provide to clients to have someone like Leanne on the team”.

Leanne obtained an LLB (Honours) degree and a post-graduate diploma in legal practice from the University of Exeter and qualified in 2009 as an English Solicitor. She is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales and previously worked as an investment funds lawyer in Hong Kong and Jersey.
