JTC appoints new Managing Director in Geneva office

JTC Group has announced the appointment of a new Managing Director at its Geneva office - Dirk Oppelaar.

Mr Oppelaar will be responsible for the day to day running of JTCs Swiss office and will also play a leading role in the company's operational strategy.

Raised in the Netherlands, Mr Oppelaar studied law at the Free University in Amsterdam before beginning his career in finance in 1995. He initially worked as a legal adviser for a Luxembourg trust company and eventually became managing director, before moving to a prominent global advisory firm in 2004.

He said: "I am absolutely thrilled to be part of a team as dynamic, innovative and client-orientated as JTC. I was already familiar with its fantastic reputation as a client provider and an employer and now I am here I can see why it is perceived in such a light. I am thoroughly looking forward to immersing myself in my new role within the JTC family."
