Advocate Emma Wakeling has joined BCR Law, increasing the number of its Jersey qualified lawyers to ten.

In addition, George Pearce who has been a lawyer with the firm since 2013, was recently called as an Advocate of the Royal Court.

Specialising in family and criminal law, Advocate Wakeling will head the Family Team at BCR and will advise on a wide range of family work including divorce, resolution of financial matters and of issues involving children.

Commenting on Advocate Wakeling’s appointment and Advocate Pearce’s qualification, David Benest, Managing Partner, said: “I am delighted to welcome Emma to the Firm. Her expertise in family law will ensure that we are able to represent our clients in a wide range of matters. Her appointment comes at an exciting time for BCR Law, as we look forward to developing our offering to local clients.
