Big changes at Sigma

Friday 25 July 2014

Long-established Channel Island business, the Sigma Group has undergone a rebrand and is now known as Sigma.

The company, which has been serving all aspects of the business community throughout the bailiwicks for over 80 years, employs more than 120 people in Guernsey and Jersey. Services include IT solutions and payroll/HR software, printers, stationery, print services, furniture and more recently training.

CEO Robert Sillars said:  “After some market research we realised that the perception of the Sigma brand was not where we wanted it to be.  We have some great people working for us with expert knowledge and contacts acquired over many years but the  perception of “The Sigma Group” did not reflect this adequately.  One of our top priorities is for the Islands to work closely together and communicate to all that we are very much a dynamic, proactive company that is an active player in the marketplace.”

Following significant management changes over the last year, Sigma’s repositioning in the marketplace has  included building redecoration respecting the heritage of the main building in Don Street in Jersey – an updated logo and strap, a new website and state-of-the-art ecommerce ordering facility.
