Investment firm Brooks Macdonald International has promoted two members of its Jersey team.
Jonathan Mynes has been appointed to Senior Investment Director and Alex Nardone has taken on the role of Business Development Director.
In his new role, Mr Mynes will work closely with senior colleagues within the international business’s investment team to provide strategic direction in support of the firm’s growth plans.
With more than 20 years’ experience in financial services, including a decade with Brooks Macdonald, he leads a team of 14 investment professionals across Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man.
Mr Nardone will take on additional responsibility for driving business development activity, focusing on the employer pension market by working with local businesses.
Mr Nardone has more than 30 years’ experience in financial services and joined Brooks Macdonald in 2020 from Lloyds Bank International’s funds and investment business, where he held various roles.
With expertise in both business development, relationship management and strong links locally and internationally, his recent focus has been on expanding the firm’s European business development strategy and global distribution of its international fund business.
Brooks Macdonald International CEO Richard Hughes said: “These promotions reflect our ambition, as well as our commitment to recognising and rewarding our people.
“Both Jonathan and Alex have extensive experience in their respective investment and business development spaces and will add real value and leadership as we maintain our focus on delivering exceptional services to investors, fiduciaries, and advisers.”
