Police are looking for the driver of a car which crashed into a lamp post yesterday morning and failed to stop.
Officers said the collision happened around 11:00 on La Grande Route de St Martin, just past St John Ambulance in St Martin.
They said the crash involved a "graphite grey" car – believed to be a Toyota Auris – which had caused "significant damage to the lamp post, and possibly to the vehicle itself".
Anyone who saw what happened or who has more information is asked to call police on 612612 or make an anonymous report to Crimestoppers via its online form or by calling 0800 555 111.
