Carey Olsen's investment funds team in Jersey has advised RoundShield on the closing of Fund V, the largest fund in the London-based private investment firm’s history.
The law firm worked alongside lead counsel Sidley Austin LLP in advising RoundShield on Fund V, which boasted investor commitments of over US$1bn.
Carey Olsen partners Robert Milner and Nienke Malan and associates Marco Carossa and Suzie Hamilton advised on the Jersey aspects of Fund V.
Its Jersey funds team also assisted RoundShield on its predecessor funds, including Fund IV in 2020, which closed at $880m, and Fund III in 2018, closing at its €500m hard cap.
