Comms agency Orchard appoints first Jersey-based staff member

Communications agency Orchard has appointed two new staff, including its first Jersey-based team member.

Rebecca Lane and Puseletso Mashego have joined the team as Senior Account Managers in Guernsey and Jersey, respectively.

Mrs Lane brings national campaign and event management experience to the agency having played a key role in Healthspan’s PR team for the last four years. A PR graduate, she will use her expertise in media relations to drive editorial impact for Orchard’s clients.

With global communications experience at the Swedish-Swiss multinational corporation ABB, Miss Mashego joins Orchard from the Aztec Group. She will draw on her B2B marketing and content creation experience to research, plan and deliver client campaigns as well as expand the agency’s offering and network in Jersey. 

 Managing Director (Client Services) at Orchard, Brooke Kenyon, said: “It is fantastic to have two new team members on board as we kick off an exciting year for the agency.

"It has always been an ambition to have a dedicated team member based in Jersey, and I know Puseletso will be an asset to our clients and Orchard’s brand.

“It’s also a pleasure to welcome Rebecca back to our team. As part of our long-standing commitment to developing talent, we previously supported Rebecca in completing a placement year with us when she was starting out in PR as an undergraduate. 

“I knew then that she had a natural talent and would excel in the communications industry.

"I’ve always kept her on my ‘would hire again’ wish list and we're excited to see the value she will add to our client work.”

Orchard currently employs 12 people and supports clients in Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man with digital, social and PR campaigns.
