Ravenscroft appoints two communication specialists

Monday 11 December 2017

Ravenscroft has appointed two communication specialists.

Juliet Bousfield and Katrina Bray have joined the stockbroking and investment management company as marketing & PR executives.

"As Ravenscroft grows its offering with the addition of new products and services and expands into other jurisdictions, it’s vital that we have a clear marketing and communications strategy to ensure that our clients and prospective clients understand who and what Ravenscroft is and what we stand for," said Group Chief Executive Officer Jon Ravenscroft.

"We also need to ensure that we communicate effectively to our growing team, particularly as we have offices in three jurisdictions, and that we continue to support the communities in which we operate through sponsorships and charitable donations. Juliet and Katrina have complementary skills that will be invaluable to us as we move forward."

Mrs Bousfield, who has a degree in philosophy, politics and economics from Oxford, moves to Ravenscroft after 13 years at Specsavers.

Miss Bray has moved to Ravenscroft from communications consultancy Liquid, where she was a director and shareholder. She has a degree in media and communication and started her career working at BBC Guernsey and then the Guernsey Press.

"I hope to use my experience of working with a cross section of industries as well as what I have learnt running my own company to ensure that Ravenscroft’s marketing strategy is truly effective. Ravenscroft has exciting plans for the future and the board recognises the value that marketing can bring – that’s very refreshing. I’m looking forward to working with each business areas to understand the opportunities and then develop and deliver a strategy to make the most of them," she said.
