BDO Greenlight is to host a ‘Lunch & Learn’ week of sessions for people working or interested in change or technology functions in Jersey.

The change management firm is inviting people from Jersey’s business community to join them for a week of short lunchtime talks on a variety of subjects.

Sessions will cover topics such as effective leadership, how to select the right system for your business, how to manage resistance to change, an introduction to Six Sigma and a session dedicated to the new EU GDPR legislation.

‘Lunch & Learn Week’ will take place from 11-15 September and the hour-long, £10-sessions include a deli lunch.

Allam Zia (pictured), Senior Consultant & Head of Business Development, BDO Greenlight, said: “We are delighted to offer the chance not only to learn more about these hot topic areas, but also to meet our team members who all offer unique insights from their wealth of experience.

“In an ever-increasing competitive landscape, understanding different tools and techniques to keep up with the pace of change can only help.  Furthermore, new regulations such as the EU GDPR coming into effect next year means businesses must adapt not only working practices and systems, but cultures. Change and continuous improvement is now very much at the heart of successful and competitive organisations”.

Eliot Lincoln, Managing Director, BDO Greenlight, said: “Learning is an important part of every role, in every business. The sessions are designed to demystify change management and give people an insight into some of the tools and techniques we use to help businesses manage change. We hope people will enjoy the sessions and find them useful for helping address change-related issues in their businesses.”
