Marketing agency Oi has been bought by a business-growth specialist with links to the Channel Islands.
The firm, with has offices in Jersey and Guernsey, has been acquired by David Hitchcock OBE and a team of investors from founder Peter Grange, who is leaving to pursue new ventures.
Mr Hitchcock has a banking and financial services background, having been Managing Director of JP Morgan for 16 years before starting States Bridge capital. He is the chairman of the Juggling King Rum company in Guernsey and head of the Gurkhas Welfare Trust in the island.
Mr Grange, who founded the agency 17 years ago, said: “After much consideration, I have decided to exit Oi to pursue new ventures. Oi’s new owners possess over 30 years of experience in the marketing and advertising industry, with businesses operating between Guernsey, Jersey and London.
”In addition to the high level of creativity and great work that Oi has provided to clients over the years, the acquisition will bring additional services and areas of expertise that Oi will be able to offer to clients in the future, including NFT, Block Chain, technical support and strategy planning.
