Directors appointed at BDO

BDO Group in Jersey has made two key appointments to consolidate its senior management team in Jersey.

Marcus Hawgood has been appointed in the new role of Director of Digital and Commercial, while Alain Egre joins the Group Relationship Management function as a Director.

Mr Hawgood, who has more than 30 years' experience in the industry, previously sat on the board of Ogier Fiduciary Services Jersey Limited.

In his new role, he will work closely with the Group Relationship Management and BDO Advisory teams, and be involved in relationship building with new and existing clients, business development and service design, as well as delivering digital and commercial advisory services.

Spanning financial services companies such as Barclays Wealth and Societe Generale, Mr Egre has 20 years' experience driving operating model design, system implementation, business integrations and commercial strategy. He also played a key role in Sionic's growth journey alongside leading the Jersey.

He will take a lead role in enabling BDO's solution design and mobilisation capability by developing and steering cross-practice client opportunities.
