JTC Group has bolstered its private client capabilities in Switzerland through two senior appointments in Geneva, including Jonathan Kirby who joins as Managing Director of the Group’s Swiss office.
In his new role at JTC, Jonathan will focus on leading the Swiss team, developing operational capabilities and growing the office as part of JTC’s global network.
With a wealth of private client experience, Jonathan was previously at Deutsche Bank where he worked for almost five years across its offices in Geneva and Guernsey. Most recently, he held the roles of Vice President, with full management responsibility of the office in Geneva, and board positions on the Fiduciary Corporate entities. He holds the STEP Certificate and Diploma in International Trust Management.
At the same time, JTC has strengthened its Swiss team further with the appointment of Sebastien Hayoz as Director of Private Client Services. Prior to joining JTC, Sebastien was Head of Private Clients for TMF Group in Geneva and Zurich, where he worked for over six years. With extensive experience of working across the European trust industry and wealth management sector, Sebastien is fluent in French and English and was educated at the University of Fribourg. He also holds the STEP Diploma in International Trust Management.
Having first opened its doors in Geneva in 2007, JTC has steadily grown its office, team and client base in the city, which is renowned for its private wealth expertise. With an excellent reputation for reliability and appropriate confidentiality, Geneva was recently ranked third out of 23 Western European financial centres in the Global Financial Centres Index (GFCI 15) just behind London and Zurich.
