EY appoints a new director

Friday 10 March 2017

Emma Hosking-Williams has been appointed as director in EY's private client and trust team in the Channel Islands.

Mrs Hosking-Williams has moved from EY’s London office.

She said: “I am excited to join EY’s Channel Islands tax team and continue to drive the successful trust and private client practice. I am also looking forward to further developing its advisory tax services to specifically support clients with international pension plans, employee benefit trusts and employer financed retirement benefit schemes.”

Her role will focus on growing the firm’s service offerings for high net worth individuals, family businesses, large multinationals and trust and corporate service providers.

Wendy Martin, EY’s Partner and Head of Tax in the Channel Islands, said: “I am delighted to welcome Emma to the Channel Islands tax team. Emma’s experience and expertise will be a huge asset to our team in this period of significant change for the fiduciary industry and private clients with the changes to the non-dom rules in April.

“Her technical expertise in pensions and employee benefit trusts also significantly strengthens our private client and trust service offerings and complements our existing skill sets."
