SaSo Strategic Advisers have employed a new Compliance Officer with 30 years' experience in the finance industry.

John Pallot worked at the Jersey Financial Services Commission from 1989 to 2007 and was Director of the Financial Services Business Division when the Financial Services (Jersey) Law 1998 was introduced.

He also headed the Compliance Division, which is tasked with the ongoing regulation of all authorised businesses under the various regulatory Laws. Since 2007, he has held a number of senior compliance posts in the private sector.

Mr Pallot said he was delighted to join SaSo at this time. "Their innovative service offeringcombined with the experience and professionalism of the team make this an exciting time to be joining," he added. "I look forward to being able to contribute to the continued growth and development of SaSo."
