CBD store opens at new high street spot

Bailiwick Botanicals is set to open its new shop at the end of this week in the former home of fashion retailer, Roulette Clothing.

The CBD and cannabis hardware store will open its doors this Friday on Queen Street.

Founded in April 2021 and initially established in Guernsey, Bailiwick Botanicals expanded into Jersey at the end of last year with a shop on Market Street, which sells a range of CBD and hardware products.

The company says its "goal" is "bringing education and quality products to the medicinal cannabis community in the Channel Islands".

The larger premises will allow the retail outlet to expand its range of CBD and medicinal cannabis hardware products, ensuring greater variety and accessibility.

Rebecca Tucker of Bailiwick Botanicals said: “It’s exciting that nearly a year on from when we opened our first store in Jersey, we are already expanding into larger premises to better serve our customers.”

The retailer has also announced its partnership with Lyphe Clinic, the largest medical cannabis clinic in the UK. Together, they will host the 'Jersey Cannabis Event: Discover the Future of Wellness' at the new retail outlet on Friday 6 October.

This event offers an opportunity for attendees to learn from industry experts at Lyphe Clinic, assess their eligibility for prescriptions, and seek guidance on clinic registration.

Ms Tucker added: "This is the first of what we hope to be many events and workshops we’ll be holding at our 1 Queen Street shop."

“Our team takes great pride in providing a quality service to all our customers, answering any questions they may have and ensuring they know how to use their devices before they leave.

"Events such as these provide us with a greater opportunity to spread the word and create a sense of community.”
