IoD Jersey's next event will aim to explore evolving employment needs and local job market dynamics.
The group is due to host its next Leaders' Lunch on Thursday 19 September at The Royal Yacht.
The event, called 'The Future of Employment in Jersey', will focus on individuals keen to improve their ability to thrive in organisations experiencing change and growth – known as Next Gen leaders.
The Leaders' Lunch will explore NextGen priorities, changes in employment processes, and the rise of the 'gig' job market.
Perspectives from various sectors, including skills professionals, HR leaders, digital experts, and financial representatives will be shared.
Alex Ruddy, Chair of IoD Jersey, will open and close the event, while Vice Chair Simon Soar will facilitate the session.
A panel of experts will lead the discussion, including Ry Williams from Walkers Global, Karolina Pilcher from Jersey Finance, Hannah Samson from IoD/Skills Jersey, Rory Steel from Digital Jersey and Michael Kirkwood from Lifeline Group.
Ms Ruddy said: "The future of employment is a critical topic for Jersey's continued prosperity. Our Leaders' Lunch provides an excellent platform for discussing the challenges and opportunities presented by the evolving job market."
The lunch will be held from 12:15 to 14:15 and is open to business leaders, policymakers, and those interested in Jersey's employment future.
This event aligns with IoD Jersey's strategic priorities, which were outlined last month and include a focus on engaging with NextGen leaders.
Tickets for the event can be bought via Eventbrite and cost £35 for an IoD member and £45 for non-members.
