Grant Thornton appoints new non-executive Chairman

Grant Thornton has announced the appointment of Peter Cornell as Non-Executive Chairman.

Mr Cornell currently holds a number of directorships in the Channel Islands.

He has had a long career in the legal and financial services market globally as well as within the Channel Islands. His experience includes the positions of Global Managing Partner for Clifford Chance and Managing Director for Terra Firma. He was also a founding partner for Metric Capital. 

Mr Cornell (pictured left) said: “I am delighted to be joining Grant Thornton Ltd in the Channel Islands, a company who have experienced significant growth in the last 5 years. I am joining a leading firm who are known for their audit, recovery and reorganisation and tax advisory services in the Channel Islands.
