“I am delighted to see that Richard Prosser has been shortlisted in the ‘Lifetime Achievement’ category," Ms Ballands said. "He is widely-known to be a trustee with an enormous amount of experience, he is universally highly-regarded and we are lucky to have him as an instrumental part of the Estera team.

“I am also very happy to have been shortlisted in the ‘Woman of the Year’ category. There is a growing pool of female leadership in our industry and not only am I proud to be part of that shift, I am proud that Estera is at the leading edge of change, with 65% of our workforce being female and with the number of female directors standing at 45%, figures well in excess of industry norms.”

JTC has been shortlisted for the ‘Trust Company of the Year’ and the ‘Industry Sustainability’ categories. JTC Private Office is in the running for ‘Family Office of the Year’ and ‘Software Innovators of the Year’ thanks to its proprietary digital platform, Edge.

In addition, Senior Director, Karen O’Hanlon, is nominated in the ‘Trustee of the Year’ category.

"To feature so prominently in these awards, alongside other global players from the private client industry, is great recognition," David Vieira, Chief Communications Officer, JTC, said.

"We launched JTC Private Office just over a year ago, and being shortlisted in the family office category reflects the strength of this offering.  I’m also delighted for Karen, who thoroughly deserves this recognition.”

The Citywealth Magic Circle awards will be announced on 13 May 2020 in London.
