Corporate, private client, and fund services firm Hawksford has made two senior appointments.
Edward McFadyen becomes Associate Director of Funds Services and Sion Williams joins as Manager in Funds Accounting.
Mr McFadyen joins Hawksford from another Jersey-based private client, corporate services and fund administration firm.
He started out as a Junior Private Client Administrator in 2004 and rose through the ranks to Associate Director of Corporate and Fund Services. He holds accreditations from both ISCA and the ACCA and has previously managed a $1.5bn fund structure, investing in zero- and low-carbon-producing energy assets internationally.
Mr William brings more than seven years’ experience from previous roles held at Alter Domus. He will be responsible for informing and developing new policies and procedures and managing a team of fund accountants.
Simon Page, Hawksford’s Global Head of Fund Services, said: “We are pleased to welcome Edward and Sion to the team. These promotions allow us to scale up and evolve our fund services offering and deliver on emerging trends and growth areas such as ESG and sustainable investments which are increasingly important to our clients.
“Edward’s expertise and proficiency in the renewables and ESG field, in particular, will make him a valued asset to the organisation and the appointments of Edward and Sion demonstrate Hawksford’s continued efforts to recruit best in class talent. I look forward to working alongside both.”
