Jersey-headquartered HSBC Expat has won the ‘Expatriate Banking and Financial Services Innovation of the Year’ award for the seventh year in a row.
The group received the accolade at the Forum for Expatriate Management (FEM) for Europe, Middle East and Africa Expatriate Management and Mobility Awards (EMEA EMMAs).
Over the last year, HSBC Expat has improved 24/7 digital banking, which includes the ability to use digital bank accounts for international business purposes and launched a new ‘FX app’.
“At HSBC Expat we are improving our services and making our customers’ lives a lot easier through our investment in technology and thought leadership," said John Goddard, Head of HSBC Expat and Retail Banking and Wealth Management, Channel Islands and Isle of Man at HSBC.
"Collectively this enables us to build better relationships with our customers and understand what they really care about. I am very proud that our team is leading the way with our expat banking proposition, gaining positive recognition in the industry.”
Claire Tennant-Scull, Global Director of Content and Events at FEM, added: “The EMMA results are always interesting and very much reflect the many changes occurring across the industry. Congratulations to HSBC Expat – all the judges were very impressed with the depth and breadth of their services.”
