HSBC's Trust and Fiduciary Services business – which has an operation in Jersey – was named ‘Trust Company of the Year (Large Firm)’ at the STEP Private Client Awards 2023/24.
The awards are designed to highlight excellence and innovation amongst private client professionals worldwide, and are seen as the hallmark of quality within the private client industry.
HSBC’s Trust and Fiduciary Services business is part of the Bank’s Global Private Banking division, and offers a broad range of succession planning solutions to help families manage their wealth needs.
Chris Jones, Head of Trust and Fiduciary Services, Channel Islands, attended the awards ceremony in London, together with the Global Head of TFS, Brent York and the Jersey Head of Family Office, Peter Stent.
Mr Jones said: “The connectivity we’re able to provide across Europe, MENA, Asia and the US is pivotal in supporting our clients with increasingly complex multi-jurisdictional needs and it’s great that the global trust business, including the Channel Islands, has been recognised with this award.
"Our Jersey business continues to play a key role in our global strategy, and it was an honour to accept the award along with Brent and Peter.”
