A further two projects have received grants from a new government-funded technology scheme, operated through Digital Jersey.
In addition to a first wave of Impact Jersey recipients announced in October, the panel of independent judges has now awarded grants to a mobility management platform, as well as a risk and insurance management platform.
The two recipients are:
This project sees EVie develop an advanced mobility management platform to give businesses, property managers and property developers tools for user onboarding, subscription management, travel 'gamification' and advanced emissions reporting of its vehicles, with the ultimate aim of motivating people to use alternative methods of transport.
This project involves developing and validating a proof of concept for a risk and insurance management platform for Jersey's fiduciary services sector. The platform would use AI to assess risk level and map this onto a fiduciary risk dashboard, reducing risks and protecting a share of the £1 trillion of client assets for which Jersey has responsibility.
The first recipients of Impact Jersey grants were Drone Emergency Services by Air Rescue Channel Islands Ltd, Realtime Sensor IoT Project by Andium Homes and Jersey's Journey to Net Zero Carbon Project by William Church Consulting.
Commenting on the latest awards, Digital Jersey CEO Tony Moretta said: "I'm pleased to be able to announce a further two grant recipients as part of the first Impact Jersey open programme.
"Alongside the projects announced in October, these recipients reflect the diversity of ambition among local innovators and underline the significant impact this scheme can have for islanders."
