A high-visibility clothing specialist, which received a “significant” loan from the Innovation Fund, has won the Micro Business of the Year Award at the Amazon Growing Business Awards.
Proviz was recognised for its innovative designs, with the judges saying the company took an everyday problem and came up with a solution that is both stylish and practical.
The judges also noted that Proviz scored highly both on market impact and customer engagement, which they say must have undoubtedly led to success for the company.
Set up by Jersey-born co-founders Rupert (pictured) and Anthony Langley-Smith in 2008, Proviz has gone on to distribute its products in 40 countries.
All of Proviz’s products offer reflective, comfortable and practical clothing to riders, runners and outdoor enthusiasts to keep them seen and safe.
Celebrating the award, Anthony said: “We are absolutely thrilled to win this prestigious award, it is a very defining moment for Proviz as a brand and business and a recognition of the hard work from the entire team.”
The company celebrated its 10th anniversary earlier this year, and is also shortlisted in the British Small Business Award.
