IQ-EQ appoints new MD

Wednesday 28 September 2022

A financial services professional with more than 25 years experience - and 13 based in the Channel Islands - has been appointed as IQ-EQ's new Managing Director of its Jersey business.

Having spent almost a decade with Halifax in the UK, Nicola Gott moved to Jersey in 2009 to join BNP Paribas, rising to the position of Country Chief Operating Officer, a position she held for more than five years.

More recently, Ms Gott has held the position of Managing Director with a number of trust, fund and corporate administration providers, including Oak Group.

She said she was "thrilled" to be joining IQ-EQ, adding: "I am genuinely excited about what we are going to achieve together, supporting each other with innovative and people-led solutions for local and group-wide colleagues, our clients and wider stakeholder group.”

John Legrand, IQ-EQ's Regional CEO for the UK, Ireland and Crown Dependencies, commented: "Nicola's robust operational and risk management experience, her commercial acumen paired with her people-focused leadership style, make her a perfect fit for our business and I very much look forward to working with her.

"I am confident she will play an important role for the regional cluster as a whole, working collaboratively with the wider leadership team while continuing to grow and evolve IQ-EQ Jersey in line with its expanding global client base."
