Jersey businesses, including Standard Bank, Sionic and Crestbridge, have been recognised at the recent WealthBriefing Awards.
Standard Bank Offshore Trust Company was Highly Commended in the ‘Institutional Trust or Fiduciary Company’ category at the Tenth Annual WealthBriefing European Awards, which were held at the end of March in London.
Its head, Michael Giraud, said: “We are delighted to receive this award. Our company recognises that each family’s circumstances and needs are unique.
"For this reason, we are extremely pleased to be recognised for our appreciation and understanding of the structures that are relevant to address needs in our clients’ personal and business situations - factors which are testament to our relationship-focused approach.”
Wealth management and private banking consultancy Sionic won ‘Best Management Consultancy’ - the third year in a row that the firm has won either a best team or leading individual award.

Sionic Managing Partner Gilly Green said: “We are thrilled to have once again been recognised for our outstanding wealth management and private banking practice at the WealthBriefing European Awards. As experts in our field, we’re delighted that our contributions to thought leadership in the wealth management industry have been acknowledged by the judges in their feedback.
“To achieve three awards in three years is truly a testament to the fantastic team here at Sionic and our consistency is why we have been given such great client feedback. I’m very proud of what we have achieved!”
Meanwhile, Crestbridge’s Director of Family Office Services, Danielle Cottignies, won the ‘Rising Star Under 40’ Award.
The judges said that they were “hugely impressed with Danielle’s leadership role both within the business but also in mentoring and making things happen. She was a key member of the Return-to-Office forum which managed the operational impact of the covid pandemic and continues to do so.”
Having been promoted to Director last year, Danielle was also a Gold winner at this year’s Citywealth Powerwomen Awards. She also has won three times at the Citywealth Future Leaders Awards and has appeared twice on the ePrivateClient ‘Top 35 under 35’ list.
Heather Tibbo, Group Head of Crestbridge Family Office Services, said: “Danielle thoroughly deserves this award and recognition. She makes an enormous contribution to our team and always goes above and beyond to support clients. As a firm which cares deeply about nurturing talent and supporting development, it’s always fantastic to see our people acknowledged as future leaders in the industry.”
