Several Jersey law firms are celebrating impressive rankings in the latest Chambers & Partners UK Guide for 2024.
The Guide aims to identify the world’s legal talent by identifying and ranking law firms and lawyers globally.
Bedell Cristin maintained its ranking status for its teams in the Channel Islands, led by Jersey's Dispute Resolution team which once again maintained its Band-1 position. 18 lawyers from across the firm were included in the individual ratings.
Carey Olsen achieved 10 out of a possible 12 Band 1 rankings. 53 lawyers from across the firm's Guernsey, Jersey and London offices were recognised, and the Jersey branch was Band 1 for Corporate and Finance, Dispute Resolution, Employment Law, Investment Funds, and Trusts.
26 lawyers from Ogier were recognised, and the firm's Jersey office was ranked top tier across its key practice areas, including corporate and finance, dispute resolution, employment, investment funds, property and trusts.
Nine team rankings were secured by Mourant, which saw five lawyers enter the rankings for the first time and six lawyers move up a tier in their practice areas.
Five lawyers from Appleby's Jersey branch were individually recognised, and each of itsCrown Dependency offices received praise, including Band 1 rankings for expertise inCorporate and Finance, Dispute Resolution, and Employment.
