The Deputy Chair of the Jersey Financial Services Commission has retired after nine years as a Commissioner.
Ian Wright joined the Board of Commissioners in 2012 and was re-appointed for a further four-year term in 2017, before taking on the role of Deputy Chair in November 2018.
Commissioner Monique O’Keefe, who joined the Board in December 2018, will succeed Mr Wright as Deputy Chair.
“This week marks a major milestone in the governance of the JFSC. In his time as Commissioner, Ian has been very generous in his wisdom, his insight and experience, helping shape the JFSC into the institution it is today," JFSC Chair Mark Hoban said.
"Ian has made a huge contribution to the success of the JFSC and I am very grateful for the support he has given during this time. So on behalf of all of us on the Board of Commissioners and the whole team at the JFSC, I want to thank Ian for his commitment and wish him all the best for the future.”
