JTC Group has formed alliance partnerships with two firms within the EU to widen its geographical reach.
The group says the alliances, with Trust Company Amsterdam in the Netherlands and Aspen Trust Group in Cyprus will also further its global expertise. JTC Group Chairman and CEO, Nigel Le Quesne, said: “Our alliance partner strategy is to extend our international reach and provide additional services to our worldwide client base. There is a growing trend for clients to seek flexible, multi-jurisdictional solutions and through these two alliances, with high quality partners based in EU locations, we will have greater capabilities in servicing new clients in growth markets including Russia.”
Andreas Athinodorou, CEO, Aspen Trust, said they were delighted to have secured an alliance with the JTC Group.
“Their extensive presence in so many jurisdictions offers our clients a wide selection of different structuring options and adds weight to the cross border expertise that we can offer,” he said.
Robert van der Velden, Managing Director at Trust Company Amsterdam, said they would be looking at the increasing opportunities that arise as a result of our alliance.
“in particular we anticipate that there will be synergy between the services we provide in the Netherlands and the established JTC Group presence across Europe, especially in Luxembourg,’ he added.
JTC Group is a multi-jurisdictional, independent provider of private client, corporate and fund services. A series of acquisitions and previous alliances in 2013cincluded the purchase of Guernsey-based Ardel Fund Services and Ardel Trust Company (Switzerland) SA in Geneva and the acquisition of Anson Fund Managers Limited, which has offices in Guernsey and the UK.
