TV presenter and campaigner Katie Piper OBE has been confirmed as the keynote speaker at a conference for small businesses taking place in autumn.
She’ll be headlining Greenhouse 2022 at Albert Bartlett Potato Pack House on Trinity Hill alongside Jo Fairley and Craig Sams, co-founders of organic, fairtrade chocolate company Green & Black’s and Whole Earth Foods.
Attendees can expect to hear from Ms Piper about her journey setting up the Katie Piper Foundation to help others recovering from burns, while Ms Fairley and Mr Sams will share insights on building environmentally-focused brands.
Four speakers from the UK and two panels of local business leaders will also be taking part.
The event, which founding organiser Jacqui Patton has pledged will be carbon neutral, will also include entertainment, a Ramparts art gallery with local artists' work displayed on site, and local food stalls.
The event is taking place on 14 and 15 October.
