Jersey Post has beaten off global competition to nab two titles at the World Post and Parcel Awards.
At a glittering ceremony in Dubai earlier this month, CEO Tim Brown picked up the Industry Leadership Award, while Jersey Post's 'Lockdown Birds' stamp series was named Philatelic Campaign of the Year.
The former was collected by outgoing CEO Tim Brown, who has 30 years' industry experience, having worked in senior positions in the Royal Mail and DHL Express.
Ahead of joining Jersey Post in 2014, he was also previously CEO of Postcode, provided advice to government and was the Vice-Chair of the European Regulators' Group for Post.

In Jersey, he has sought to exploit opportunities outside of the local market, investing in parcel operations.
Mr Brown said he was "over the moon" and "humbled" to have received the global prize, and gave credit to the colleagues who had supported Jersey Post's growth strategy. He will be stepping down in June 2022, succeeded by Mark Siviter.
The winning Lockdown Birds stamps were a set of eight colourful drawings by Berni Martin, a Jersey resident who set herself a project to paint a bird every day during the first covid-19 lockdown, with each bird reflecting her mood on that day.
The project gained both local and global recognition, with the story picked up in Germany, Italy, and even as far afield as the US and China.

“Every year, Jersey Post endeavours to deliver a quality and innovative stamp programme. We’re extremely proud of the work that we do and we’re thrilled to be recognised at the World Post and Parcel Awards," Group Marketing Director David McGrath explained.
"For us, the ‘Flockdown’ stamps are a perfect example of the power of philately to connect people.
"The designs resonated with people around the world, creating a sense of community through our shared experience of the pandemic.”
