Mr Renault said: “After 46 years in property law, I felt it was time for a change.

I’ve spent my career helping people navigate the emotional journey of buying and selling property, and I’ve developed strong relationships along the way.

"This felt like the perfect time to bring my experience to the estate agency side.

I’ve always been committed to working closely with clients to secure the best outcomes, and I aim to continue that at Livingroom, an agency that I’ve seen first-hand make a big impact on the Jersey industry.”

Livingroom was established in 2018, and was named the best single office estate agency in the world at the 2022 International Property Awards.

Founder and CEO Simon Torode said: “Gavin’s extensive legal knowledge, problem-solving skills and dedication to delivering exceptional results for clients align perfectly with Livingroom’s values.

"His move to property sales is not only a natural progression for him, but also a fantastic opportunity for Livingroom to continue to raise the bar in the Jersey property market.”
