Sea-inspired Manomara – a Jersey cosmetics brand –has launched a range of natural massage oils in collaboration with Longueville Manor.
The fruit of a year’s development alongside fragrance expert and Manomara head Anna Messervy-Evans, Longueville’s spa-goers will now be able to benefit from the new custom-made oils - the lavender and rose-infused ‘Relax’ and a rosemary and eucalyptus ‘Uplift’.
Meaning ‘handmade by the sea’, the Manomara collection will debut alongside two new 75-minute massages at the Manor’s Cottage Garden Spa, which lies within a secluded walled Victorian garden.
Ms Messervy-Evans, whose fragrance experience has seen her work at Chanel and Lancôme, commented:
“Manomara came from wanting to answer the question, 'What's in the bottle?' and making sure products we put on our skin are authentic, natural and really do work. I'm thrilled to be working with Longueville Manor. We share a passion to harness something from the earth and turn it into something beautiful and well crafted. I've loved finding out about the wonderful herbs and flowers growing in the walled garden and together we've created two lovely oils inspired by them."

Longueville Manor Proprietor Patricia Lewis added: “We are so pleased to finally launch our new Manomara products and spa treatments. At Longueville Manor we have always been passionate about using local and natural ingredients. Manomara has enabled us to extend this ethos into the Cottage Garden spa, creating oils that use the flora and fauna found right on our doorstep.
“We are very grateful to Anna for creating these unique oils for Longueville Manor. These products are unique, home-grown and are blended and bottled right here in Jersey. The new Signature Massage Collection has also been designed to bring out the properties of each oil so that visitors to the spa can experience their full benefits. We look forward to growing our budding partnership with Manomara and creating more home-grown products that will benefit our visitors.”
