Longueville Manor Hotel and Restaurant has been awarded the Relais and Châteaux Heritage Trophy, the third accolade in what is its 75th year.
Longueville Manor is one of 580 hotels that form the global Relais and Châteaux hotel group.
It was the sole Channel Islands member that was handed the Heritage Trophy at the group’s annual conference in Paris.
This award, sponsored by Tattinger, recognised Longueville Manor for its "passion for hospitality, collective expertise and exceptional service".
The hotel said the award also noted the longevity of its team and praised the diversity of its talent, as well as the commitment of its longest serving members in passing on their expertise to the next generation.
This achievement follows news that Longueville Manor became the first Channel Islands recipient of a Michelin Key earlier this year, which recognises the most outstanding hotels.
The AA guide also ranked Longueville Manor among the top hotels in the UK, presenting it with the highest rating of five Red Stars this year, and every year since 2008.
Longueville Manor owner Malcolm Lewis, said: “We are overjoyed to have received such incredible recognition, and these awards have made our 75th anniversary even more special.
“I cannot be prouder of our loyal team and our success is a reflection of their passion, dedication and exceptionally high standards. It is an honour to be a member of Relais & Châteaux hotel group, so we were delighted to be chosen for the Heritage Trophy for preserving the traditions of hospitality.”
The hotel said that rather than taking time to enjoy this year’s achievements, Mr Lewis is “keen not to get complacent”.
“Now it’s time to look forward, continue to challenge ourselves and reach new heights, and we’re very excited about the future of Longueville Manor Hotel & Restaurant,” he added.
