The management buy-out of Ogier Fiduciary Services from the Ogier Group has been completed to create two independent businesse - Ogier Legal and Ogier Fiduciary Services.
Ogier Fiduciary Services will led by Paul Willing while Nick Kershaw will head Ogier Legal as its Global Managing Partner.
The management buy-out of Ogier Fiduciary Services was backed by Electra Private Equity PLC who invested £82 million of equity on behalf of their major client Electra Priavte Equity PLC, alongside a significant investment by the Ogier Fiduciary Services' management team.
Ogier Fiduciary Services employs 450 people across ten jurisdictions, and there are plans to grow the business over the next five years.
Ogier Legal employs 350 people, providing legal advice in the key offshore jurisdictions of BVI, Cayman, Guernsey and Jersey as well as Luxembourg, and continues to be one of the world's leading providers of offshore legal advice with a strong footprint in Asia through offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Tokyo.
