Moore expands private equity team

Moore Group has boosted its team with the appointment of an accountant specialising in private equity funds, as a senior manager.

Emma Price, who is Association of Chartered Certified Accountants qualified, will focus on supporting the expanding specialist management team, with the technical aspects of private equity. Her appointment follows Jon Trigg’s promotion to Head of European Fund Services.

“I have watched Moore thrive from afar for a while, so when the opportunity to join the team came up I didn’t hesitate. Their reputation and commitment to being the best in the industry is really admirable and I really looking forward to this next chapter in my career,” she said.

Mr Trigg said: “Emma is a very talented professional and I am delighted to welcome her to the team. I have worked with her previously and (have) always been impressed by her dedication, knowledge and capacity to engage people. I am very excited by the commercial opportunities that are being presented to us in Europe and am looking forward to driving our expansion in to these markets with Emma and the team.”

Since Moore was acquired by First Names Group in January 2013, it has invested heavily in private equity resources and systems. The business has also grown significantly both in terms of staff levels and global reach and will soon operate in five locations.
