Moore Stephens has announced the acquisition of local accountancy and taxation firm Bracken Rothwell in a move they hope will "enhance service offerings".
The newly consolidated entity will operate under the Moore Stephens brand to deliver audit, advisory, taxation and accounting services.
Moore Stephens said the acquisition allows both teams to “work together to solve client challenges with greater resources, a wider range of skills and a shared commitment to making clients’ lives easier and businesses stronger”.
With a focus on leveraging advanced technologies, the firm will "deliver faster insights and smarter, data-driven solutions”.
The two firms will continue to operate from their existing premises until January 2025 when the Bracken Rothwell team will move into Moore Stephens’ office in St Helier.
Phillip Callow, Managing Director of Moore Stephens’ Audit, Accounting and Tax services in the Channel Islands commented: “We are delighted to announce this acquisition with Bracken Rothwell. Our shared commitment to providing excellent client services has been paramount to our joining forces.
“We look forward to offering all our clients an expanded ranges of services and options from our expert teams.”
Stef Boschat, Managing Director of Bracken Rothwell, added: “This is a significant step forward for both firms, allowing us to combine our expertise and resources to better serve our clients.
“By joining forces, we can offer a more comprehensive range of services, whilst maintaining the personalised approach our clients know and trust. Together, we are stronger, more innovative, and better positioned to support our clients in achieving their ambitions."
