The founder of a West's Centre furniture business is stepping down and handing the reins over to his daughter.

Lauren Clark has taken over from her father, Paul, as the new Director, having supported the family business in recent years as Sales and Marketing Manager.

“Lauren’s deep understanding of the company’s ethos, her strategic acumen and her unwavering dedication to customers make her the natural choice to continue the company’s journey towards continued growth," Mr Clark said.

“I couldn’t be prouder of what MyPad has accomplished over the past decade, it has been a remarkable journey, but now is the right time for me to hand the business over to the next generation and I’m excited to see Lauren take the reins.”

Ms Clark added: “I am deeply honoured to have the opportunity to lead MyPad as we embark on the next phase of our journey and growth. My dad’s legacy is truly inspiring and I am committed to upholding the values and vision that have made MyPad the success it is today.”

The handover comes as the business celebrates its 10-year anniversary, which it will be marking with in-store events on 10 and 11 November.
