A local parenting support charity has announced two additions to its "dedicated and hardworking" board of directors.
Antonia Burgess and Christopher Journeaux have both joined the Brighter Futures board, which has welcomed the additional skills and experience the pair will bring.
Ms Burgess is a Non-Executive Direction with a background in senior roles in legal and financial services, as well as chairing Brighter Futures' Fundraising and Marketing sub-committee.
Mr Journeaux is a psychotherapist and has a background in marketing and consultancy, as well as as a trustee and board member of other Jersey charities.
Brighter Futures said his marketing knowledge would be particularly helpful.
The charity's Chair, Martin Fricker, said: “Our dedicated and hardworking Board are crucial to the success and good governance of the charity.
"We are delighted that both Antonia and Christoper have joined our impressive Board team of Wendy Hurford MBE (Founder and President of Brighter Futures), our Treasurer Ashley Pearse, Paul Rouse, Rosie Stott, and Kirsten Morel.
"They will bring additional skills to the Board and provide support to our excellent CEO, Fiona Brennan."
Brighter Futures is Connect's charity partner for 2024.
