Cherry Godfrey has appointed a new female director of Operations and Marketing to its board as part of its commitment to equal opportunities.
Tanzy Cherry, who holds a BSc in Economics, Finance and International Business, will take on the new role at the local firm. Previously, she worked on streamlining the business’ operations.
"As Operational and Marketing Director I look to continue and build Cherry Godfrey's reputation as leading financial service providers in all three Crown Dependencies. I work with an excellent team to expand our product offering ensuring that customer service is at the heart of everything we do. Cherry Godfrey has seen significant growth including the establishment of our new Isle of Man branch. We are keen to continue that expansion into other jurisdictions,” Tanzy commented.
Her appointment brings the number of women in senior management positions – including executive director roles – to six.
It comes following the promotion of Hazel Turvey and Marie Donnelly, who together hold over 21 years’ experience with the company, to the Cherry Godfrey Board earlier this year.
David Cherry, group Managing Director, said: "We believe in rewarding and promoting our team on merit and qualifications. I am delighted to welcome Tanzy as a full Board member. Since joining the firm in 2015 she has demonstrated her breadth of professional skills across a range of departments and, in particular, the role she played in setting up our Isle of Man branch that is key to our continued growth."
