A new Trustee has joined the board of the Lloyds Bank Foundation Channel Islands.
David Pirouet has been appointed with a view to chairing the Audit and Investment Committee when the current Chair retires.
Having previously worked at PwC for 29 years, Mr Pirouet specialised in the financial services sector and led the business's hedge fund and business recovery practice for more than four years.
Mr Pirouet has been involved with charitable activities in Jersey for over 40 years, most recently as a member of the Rotary Club of Jersey and its related charities. He currently serves as a Trustee of Community Savings Jersey.
Philippa Stahelin, Chair of the Foundation, commented: "We're thrilled to have someone with David's financial background join our Board.
"Additionally, David's experience in the charitable sector will enable him to hit the ground running.
"He is clearly someone who shares the Foundation's values, and I look forward to working with him."
