The Jersey Community Foundation has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer.
Anna Terry, who is taking on the role, initially joined the charity in a consultancy capacity, when it was established in May 2020, playing a key role in establishing its grant-giving programme.
Jersey-born Ms Terry has worked in the charitable sector since 2009, and has experience in dealing both with donors and with trusts and foundations whilst working in various roles.
Before joining JCF, she worked as a consultant to a charitable trust, and was responsible for identifying and facilitating suitable grantee projects both globally and in Jersey.
Ms Terry has also nearly completed an MA in Philanthropic Studies.
“Community Foundations are one of the fastest growing philanthropic movements globally, bringing together people and organisations that want to improve their communities. JCF is at an exciting stage in its development, with great opportunities ahead, and I am delighted to be taking on the role of CEO,” she commented.
